Well, here we are at another Wednesday, crickey they are flying by aren't they?!! Time for a new theme at The Creative Cottage Challenge Blog. And this week we want to see some yummy creations featuring 'Food and Drink'.
Just so happens that I have used the same kit for my card that you could win as the prize - 'Something Sweet':
I have used some papers from 'Home Sweet Home' too, just seemed to go so well together! I have followed the sketch over at Midnight Madness for my layout on this card:
The tag proved a bit of a challenge, as I think I may have used one that is too large for the design. Should have done a smaller version me thinks. . . Ah well, done now. My flower at the bottom is made using scraps of (hopefully) matching card from my bits box.
My original card on the Creative Cottage Blog I realised was unfinished when I looked at it. The sketch required some other little bits that I have now added, in the shape of a pearly brad, and a sticky backed pearl. That ribbon on the left is actually a recycled bit from a Christmas card I recieved. 'Nice ribbon' I thought. 'I'll keep that. Might come in handy one day.' And it has! My other brown ribbon is from my stash.
The tag is made using more of the papers from both kits, and I used my sizzix tags die to cut them out. The sentiment is computer generated. Sparkly ribbon again from the stash, attached with another pearly brad. Last thing I did was to sprinkle some clear glitter over the layered up Cupcakes. Good enough to eat huh? YUM. . .
I am entering this into a couple of other challenges too - hope you don't mind girls?? First at Crafty Catz where the theme is 'Spots'. Then at Rosie Dee where the theme is 'So Yummy', and then at Digital Tuesday where their theme is also 'Food and Drink'.
Mmmm . . . hungry now. . . off to get coffee and biscuits - yum-yums!
