One For The Fellas

Hiya folks!

Hope you all had a good weekend. Things are good here now the icky bug has all gone - yeay! Back to firing on all cylinders! Talking of which, I have a two-stroke for you today, in the form of a card that is! LOL

This card then is for the fellas, especially the more Vintage Bikers amongst them. It follows the sketch from MAWTT, which just suited the shape of this Vintage Norton perfectly (after tilting it).

I have used one of my new images, available now at

my wee blog shop.

The original image is a sketch in black and white, but I printed in a sepia tone to get a more Vintage feel to it. The colours here are done to fit the theme at Saturday Spotlight which is 'Coffee', so I have used browns and creams here. It kind of fits at Crafty Catz too, where they want 'white and one other colour'. So, as this is shades of brown with some white in, I'll enter it there too, hopefully it'll pass!

I have printed the bike three times onto glossy photo paper for a richer colour and sharper image, then cut it and layered it with foam pads. This fits in with the theme at Fab and Funky which is 'Use your favourite technique'. The backing cardstock is printed, and is a tinted photo of a bike engine. I have inked the card edges in brown too.

The image is layered and matted onto cream and brown card, with some organza ribbon underneath to match the sketch. I have generated the sentiment on the computer, and is raised on foam pads too.

OK, off to do another post now then, see ya in a mo!
