Fed up with the snow yet? I am. Forecast last night was to be clear, and guess what? We had another inch or two of it - got that wrong again guys! Loads of noise outside today - there is a JCB on the road scraping the snow off the path and dumping it to the side - not my road sadly, it's the one my road joins onto that leads to the main road.
Well, all that shovelling I did yesterday left me with a sore back and aching wrists, must be getting carpel tunnel syndrome or something - eeekk! Hubby got the car out though, so it was worth the pain!! Just hope he can get it back in again. . .
I have managed to do a card for today - yipee! The layout is from Delightful Sketches - love how this one came together. The colours are from a couple of challenges, The Little Paper Shop wanted Cerise Pink, Black and White, and Crafty Creations want Black and White with a touch of Colour - I hope this pink isn't too much colour for them!! Lastly the theme at Papertake Weekly is 'New Beginnings', and I have made this a New Baby Card for a Girl.
I have used one of my images here (no surprise there then!) available at Delicious Doodles. It is Bobby Bear, but I changed the colouring to pink to make it a Betty Bear instead - wouldn't want Bobby to get a complex would we?? LOL Papers are from Funky Hand (polka dots) and Tinker & Co (swirly pink). The flowers are recycled from a card I received a while ago, with added black centre and gem from my stash.
Hopefully hubby will be home soon, so he can rescue the flat roof before it collapses under the weight of the ice that is on it. You can't tell from this pic, but there is an overhang of about four inches of solid ice over the guttering, and it is at least a foot deep on the top - nice icicle too!!
