I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, and didn't over-indulge too much . . .? Yeah, right. Like we don't eh? Still, hope you are all recovered today. Our Christmas was a quiet one, just us and the kids. My Mum was supposed to come up for the week, but her flight was cancelled because of the weather. We will have to wait until Spring now before we see her again.
Right, onto the card for today. This is for the Midnight Madness Challenge. They have some really interesting sketches there, that make you think outside the box sometimes! You really need to check them out if you haven't already!
I have used a new one of my images for this card, Valentine Teddy. He is available for purchase at my blog shop, Delicious Doodles.
I have layered him up after colouring with watercolour pencils. He is placed on squares that I cut out using a Nestabilities square die. I threaded the ribbon between the layers, and separated them with foam pads too. I dotted some gold dimension paint round the squares too, just for a bit of bling. The background is a rose one that has been printed as a very pale tint. Can't remember where that came from, I've had it for ages.
I didn't want to overload this one with any more bows or anything like that. Keep it simple - that's my motto!!
