Hi again folks!
My second card today, so scroll down to see the first.
This card was made using the Friday Sketchers layout, which I thought was a really lovely one this time - well done ladies!
I used some gorgeous images from one of the new Joanna Sheen CD sets, RHS Botanicals. I chose to use a Crocus image and background, and played with it to get a tinted backing too. This I used for the printed cardstock, with a darker bit for the cross effect at the back. Then I printed out the piece with Happy Birthday on as a purple tint, and the main image as it came.
No fancy layering here though, would have been far too fiddly! So instead I raised the text panel and the main image with doubled up foam pads for extra depth. Gems, flowers and brad from the stash.
I think my New Years resolution will be to use up some of the hefty stash in my Dining Room. Don't know about you guys, but I'm such a hoarder, especially of yummy papers that I never use!! Me bad!
I am putting this card into a couple of other challenges too. At Charisma Cardz the theme is 'NO Christmas', and at Crafty Creations - 'Anything Goes'!!
Righty then. Time for some dreaded H word - ugh! But then, Santa doesn't come to a messy house does he . . . ?
