As this month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I though I would join the bandwagon and make a card for the occasion.
My Mother-in-Law had this horrible disease year before last, and it was this time of the year too! She had a Mastectome (is that spelled right?) followed by the yucky treatments, but, (huge Phew! here) she recovered well, and is in the clear for now!
So, this is also going into a couple of challenges.
First up, I followed a sketch from Delightful Sketches, just the right layout for my card.
Next, at My Grafico, their challenge is PINK. Make anything, as long as it is pink! I used the Pink Papers set that is designed especially for Breast Cancer Awareness.
I used a lovely image designed by Angela at Sewn Together in the Digital Ink Co shop. A few of the designers there have got together and produced a lovely set for Breast Cancer Awareness, at a bargain price too! Excellent!
I made the flowers from the same paper set, and topped them off with a pink flowery gem. Last, I made a pink loop for the hat, and put some gems on the sentiment. Job Done!
