Winter Wonderland - Frosty the Snowman

Another week closer to the 'C' word!! Time for another theme at Winter Wonderland.

It was great fun to look at your place settings last week, some brilliant projects out there! Well done you lot!

This week we have a great giveaway for the winner, donated by our very own Lesley - cheers hun!

Onto the theme for this week - wrap up warm because it's time to make a Snowman! We want to see all your creations featuring good old Frosty the Snowman. Doesn't have to be a card either - you could do a tag, make a model, centrepiece for the table - anything goes!!

We have an optional sketch for you to follow for this one, you don't need to use it, but if you do - Well Done! Here is the sketch:

This is what I did with it. I used papers from the Tinker & Co set named Winter Wishes, which has some lovely pastel shades. I punched out some shapes for the holly leaves and flower at the top.

The swirly bit defeated me for a while, but I remembered a card I did a couple of posts back where I used twirled paper strips, so I decided to do that again here.

Frosty himself is another of my own drawings which I coloured with watercolour pencils and layered with foam pads. If you like my Frosty, I have made him available for purchase on my sister blog Delicious Doodles, along with a load of other digi-images that I have created.

To finish off the card, I added Pebeo Touch dimension paint to the sentiment, threw glitter over it all, and put some glittery snowflake brads at the bottom - job done!

So, head on over to Winter Wonderland, have a looky at everyone elses inspiration, visit their blogs and leave some love! Take a mooch at that great giveaway and get entering!!
